  7. NDP Pascal-860 has been specially designed and extended to take advantage of
  8. all of the capabilities of the i860 microprocessor. It is compatible with
  9. Microway's prior NDP-386 and NDP-486 compilers. It includes a proprietary
  10. COFF-based tool set: an i860 assembler, linker, librarian, and loader. NDP
  11. Pascal-860 runs under UNIX, OS/2, Windows NT, and DOS environments and can be
  12. run native on the i860 or cross on an 80386 or 80486. It includes graphics
  13. extensions which make it easy to recompile both PC and mainframe applications
  14. for the i860. Programs developed with NDP Pascal-860 run on XTEND-860, a
  15. Microway monitor which provides i860 runtime support and interfaces to the
  16. operating system

  18. NDP Pascal-860 implements the ANSI/IEEE standard 770X-3.97-1983, a superset of
  19. Niklaus Wirth's Pascal. It includes several extensions from Berkeley 4.2 BSD
  20. Pascal and the British Standards institute (BSI) Level 0, a preprocessor,
  21. separate compilation of modules, and interfaces to the Microway C library.
