  5. Visual:GKS is a level 2C implementation of the ANSI/ISO/ GKS graphics
  6. standard.  This subroutine library includes standard language bindings for C,
  7. FORTRAN, and Ada, and includes support for more than 100 popular graphics
  8. devices.  Under all SCO operating environments, Visual:GKS supports most PC
  9. graphics boards and virtually any graphics terminal.  Visual:GKS also includes
  10. an Open Desktop X Window System interface with full support for pull-down
  11. CHOICE menus, rubber-band cursor styles, and Motif integration.  Other
  12. features of this tool include user-modifiable fonts, Visual:GraphCap device
  13. independence, ANSI CGM input and output, and an optional 3-D modelling
  14. capability.  This robust package has been used as the basis for a number of
  15. popular commercial graphics packages, and has a large installed base.
