  7. Capstone is an application development environment which is comprised of
  8. several rapid-iteration development tools that are specifically oriented toward
  9. C development using X Window Systems and RDBMS technology. Capstone is
  10. comprised of five core tools: DBAPARTNER, CODEMAKER, GUIMAKER,
  11. DOCMANAGER, and DBTOOL. Collectively, these tools can reduce the application
  12. development costs by as much as 40 percent. DBAPARTNER reads and produces data
  13. definition language files, files the DDL into version control libraries, and
  14. uses e-mail to issue change management reports. CODEMAKER creates 100 percent
  15. of the database access functions such as insert, query, delete, and update in
  16. ANSI C and K&RC; it also creates stored procedures and triggers automatically.
  17. GUIMAKER creates Motif-complaint screens. DOCMANAGER provides an editor for
  18. program generated manual pages. DBTOOL is an X Window System/Motif-based
  19. interactive SQL Manager.
