  1. VNC for EPOC
  2. ------------

  4. This SIS file has been produced from a slightly modified version 
  5. of the publicly available Java VNC client v3.3.3r2.  It installs directly to the apps folder, and all functionality is accessible 
  6. from the VNC interface.
  7.  
  8. In practice the modifications are:
  9.  
  10.     - Added host and port fields to avoid the need for 
  11.       command line usage
  12.  
  13.     - Added a help option, to inform users how to move 
  14.       the small psion screens around over the larger VNC
  15.       display
  16.  
  17. These modifications were done merely to allow VNC to work 'nicely'
  18. on a Psion Netbook - it works well.  It has not been tested on 
  19. other flavours of psions, but should work equally well on a 5mx
  20. and even on the Revo.  It also works sucessfully on the psion emulator,
  21. as supplied with the SDK.

  23. In the near future, I'll change the host/port so that servers can 
  24. be selected from a pull down list, because I can't remember all
  25. the IP addresses I need!
