Welcome to our Collection Manager for the Psion S3Mx/3A/3C
As it stands, this Shareware version is fully functional but allows you just a few entries to check out the program before registering. Please note that registration does not involve reloading the program, but simply selecting the 'Register' menu option and typing in a registration code to release the 'lock'.

INSTALLATION
------------
1. Put S3ACOLL2.APP in your \APP\ directory
2. If you want to use the optional On-Line Help (Highly recommended) put the file S3ACOLLH.OVL into an \APP\S3ACOLL\ directory.
3. If you want to use the optional Print option put the file S3ACOLLP.OVL into the \APP\S3ACOLL\ directory and the file S3APRINT.DYL into an \OPD\ directory. Note that this file is common to all my programs, so if you have more than one of them you only need one copy of this file.
4. Install (PSION-I) and go for it !!
RUNNING THE PROGRAM
-------------------
This is a fairly complex program, so I would strongly encourage you to read the instructions and work through the tutorial. In particular, read the IMPORTANT note in this file before you start to put in any data.
REGISTRATION

If you wish to register the program, you can do so by post (snail-mail), or on-line using the RegNet facility (credit cards).

This program has been allocated the RegNet Number: 215 and this should be quoted. Again, the notification tends to get to us within 24 hours and we reply within another 24 hrs. (Note that paying by this method will involve an extra US$5 handling charge)
In each case, we (or our agent) will then send you a personalised registration code to enter (select the option via the Menu) to remove the 'nag' screen and allow full use of the program. Note that you will NOT need a new copy of the program, all the functionality is already there but just needs 'unlocking' by the registration code. We will also ensure that this code remains forward compatible for future versions of the program so, unlike other programs, we will not be asking for a further fee for an upgrade.
IMPORTANT NOTE
--------------
Before you enter any data you really need to decide what you will want the program to accomplish. In particular you need to decide what will be grouped in the 'Names' fields and what will go into the 'Categories' fields. The difference to remember is that the filter function will operate on the 'Categories' and the Text search will work on the 'Names' fields. The other aspect to consider is the 'Sorting'. If you sort on Category the order of the categories will be the order in which they were entered using the 'Enter Category' option, so make sure you enter them in the order you want.
