  3. - Mute5 is compatible with all EPOC Machines based on ER3 or ER5.
  4. - With Mute5 you can switch the sound/alarm on or off with one single
  5.   click on the Mute5 icon. Moreover the icon shows you whether the
  6.   sound is switched on or off.
  7. - Mute5 uses an official UID.

  10. Installation:
  11. -------------
  12. 1. To install Mute5.sis from your PC using PsiWin earlier
  13.    than v2.1 you need to download "EPOC Install" from my homepage.
  14.    This program requires Win 95/98.
  15.    If you would like to install Mute5.sis directly from your
  16.    Psion, make sure you have an add/remove icon in the Control Panel.
  17.    If not, download "Add/remove Control panel" from my homepage.
  18. 2. Either way, run Mute5.sis.
  19. 3. Systinfo.sis and Alarm.sis will be installed, too.
  20. 4. That's it! There will be a new icon on your Extras bar.

  23. Usage:
  24. ------
  25. Run Mute5 from System or the Extras bar.
  26. When you run Mute5 for the first time, an information dialog will be
  27. displayed, where you can set up if you would like Mute5 to switch off
  28. all sounds or just the alarm clock. You will have to delete the Mute5.ini
  29. file to change those settings. Mute5.ini is saved in ?:\system\apps\mute5\.
  30. The Mute5 icon may indicate a wrong sound/alarm status until you run it
  31. for the first time.
  32. Especially the Psion S5 needs a few seconds to change the icon.
  33. Upgrades: Remove Mute5 v1.00 first. The .ini file has changed.
