INTRODUCTION
------------
Welcome to our classic 'Defender' arcade game for the EPOC Series of handheld computers.
As it stands, this Shareware version is limited such that your game ends when the end of attack wave two is reached.
Please note that registration does not involve reloading the program, but simply selecting the 'Register deVender' menu option and typing in a registration code to release the 'lock'.
FILE DETAILS
------------
The archive file should contain the following files:
deVender.sis The program
Readme.txt English Instructions
Once installed you will see the program consists of the following essential files: (all in \System\Apps\deVender\)
deVender.app - The main program file
deVender.aif - The icons used in the System screen
deVender.rsc - The program's resource file
deVbits - The program's bitmaps
And the following optional files which have been installed and may be deleted later if space is at a premium:
deVender.hlp - Help File
Dman.snd - Sound of man dying
Mutate.snd - Sound of lander mutating
Xman.snd - Sound of extra man claxon
If you must, you can also delete
MHelp.snd - Squeal of man being picked up
although if you do so, the game will be significantly harder to play.
INSTALLATION
------------
To install the program simply double-click on the deVender.sis file or select the "Install New Program" option in PsiWin/EPOC Install.
RUNNING THE PROGRAM
-------------------
Start the program by selecting 'Extras' from the Application bar and then selecting 'deVender'.
REGISTRATION
------------
If you wish to register your copy, which will then give you full access to the program, and no nag screen, the cost is 10 UK pounds (US$15, 30DM, 15 Euros). There are two ways to register:

USA Residents:
We now support the PayPal system for transferring of money, as that avoids the $5 handling charge added by REGNET. Simply send the money to alan@rmrsoft.com quoting the program you wish to register and we will send the registration code to you within a few hours.
If you are not already signed up for PayPal it is very straightforward to join. Just go to www.paypal.com and follow the instructions. You even get a $5 bonus for signing up. However, we would appreciate if you say that you were referred by alan@rmrsoft.com so that we get the $5 referral bonus :-)).
Non-USA Residents:
Register on the WWW through RegNet, the Registration Network (Note that paying by this method involves an extra US$5 handling charge). In the future, we intend to leave 'Beta' versions of the next versions of the programs on these sites, as each new enhancement is incorporated. If you don't mind taking the odd risk, that will be a way of continually updating your program.
