  13. Welcome to Desktop utilities plus, the definitive suite of
  14. utility applications for the EPOC platform.
  15.  
  16. This text file will give you the information that you need to
  17. install Desktop onto your palmtop, and how to get started.

  19. Installing Desktop
  20. ==================

  22. 1)    Turn on your Series 5, press the System button, press the Menu key,
  23.     under 'Tools' select 'Preferences', make sure that the 'show system
  24.     folder'option is 'OK'. This will make the System folder visible on
  25.     your Psion.
  26.  
  27. 2)    Create a new \SYSTEM\APPS\Desktop folder.
  28.  
  29. 3)    Copy all the files from the ZIP file into this new folder,
  30.     except ...
  31.  
  32. 4)    Place the sysram1.opx file which should be placed in the
  33.     \SYSTEM\OPX\ folder on your C: drive (if you have not have
  34.     it already).

  36. 5)    Place the ps.opo and ps.mbm files in the C:\SYSTEM\APPS\OPL\ folder,
  37.     if you do not already have them.

  43. Desktop has been designed to be very easy to use, and you should be able
  44. to find your way around quite quickly, however comprehensive online help
  45. is available by tapping the help button. If you have any other questions
