This is a simple program to ease zipping and unzipping files. It needs the VBRun100.dll and PKZ110.exe.
This program is able to back through directories making file searches a mouse click away. It is design for quick, simple use. if it is necessary to use switches, passwords or comments, then other programs will suit you better, or working from the prompt.
Operations
General:
1. Put PKZip and PKUnZip in your root directory.
2. All files operated upon will be placed in the same directory as the Zip Master EXE.
3. To redirect subsequent files use the File Manager.
UnZip:
Simply double-click your way to the file for the action, double-click it so that it is included in the "Path:" statement, then click the "UnZip" button.
Zip:
-Single File-
Again, double-click your way to the file for the action, double-click it so that it is included in the "Path:" statement, then click the "Zip" button.
-Multiple files-
1. Double-click your way to the *first* file for the action and double-click it so that it is included in the "Path:" statement.
2. Locate and single- or double-click the next file to be included.
3. Click the "Include" button.
4. For each additional file repeat steps 2 and 3.
5. Click the "Zip" button.
Acknowledgements and Comments:
The Compu-Serve gurus made this simple program possible. I was saddened by MicroSoft (again) when I discovered that Visual basic was really a Windows SDK add-on. Serious programming has been happered because the API documentation was not included.
