  1. MENUEV - Menu Event Custom Control                        Unregistered Version

  4. MenuEv makes it very easy to get menu items events in your VB program.
  5. All you need to do is place MenuEv on your form.  The events start
  6. coming in at run time.
  7.  
  8. MenuEv will automatically update another control (such as a label,
  9. or text box) with the text of the highlighted menu it.  This means 
  10. you don't need ANY code to have status-bar style help.  Just set
  11. a couple properties and you're done!

  27. LICENSING / DISTRIBUTION

  29. You may distribute the registered VBX with your applications royalty-free.
  30. You may not disitrbute the registered VBX without your application (except
  31. as an update for an already installed program).  Each developer should
  32. register MenuEv for use on their machine.

  37. You can register this program by sending $10 and your address
  38. (international orders should send $12).  If you are a CompuServe member,
  39. you can register this in the Software Registration forum (GO SWREG).

  42. If you would like the registered version E-mailed to you, the price
  43. is $5.  Registrations done via the SWREG forum on CompuServe are
  44. E-mailed to your CompuServe account.  I can mail files to Internet

  49. SOURCE CODE

  51. Source code for this program is available for $25 ($30 for international
  52. orders).  A registered version of the control comes with the source code.
  53. So, you are automatically registered when you get the source code.

  111. Updates are free.  For minor releases (such as if I correct a 
  112. spelling mistake in this README file), you probably won't hear from
  113. me.  I'll be happy to send it to you anyway, if you ask for it.
  114. But, when a major release is made (lots of extra functionality
  115. bug fix, etc.), I will notify all registered users.  And, I'll make
  116. every attempt to properly update everyone.
