  16. Purpose:
  17.  
  18. CusGen is a tool for Visual Basic 2.0 programmers to package their
  19. application and generate a professional custom installation program that
  20. they can distribute to install their application on any PC.
  21.  
  22. Usage:
  23.  
  24. A VB programmer starts CusGen and enters specific information of their
  25. application, such as how many executable files, dll's, how much disk
  26. space is needed, the title of the application, etc...
  27.  
  28. The magic of CusGen then commences, the programmer hits the Translate
  29. button, and viola, a text file is created with VB code custom to the
  30. application.  This text file, "CUSTOM.TXT", is then used by a
  31. Visual Basic project called "SETUP.MAK".  The programmer starts VB 2.0
  32. and opens the project "SETUP.MAK" and loads the text file "CUSTOM.TXT"
  33. into the LOAD property of "SETUP1.FRM". An executable file called,
  34. "SETUP.EXE" can then be compiled. That's it, the programmer can then
  35. distribute the executable file along with the application's needed files
  36. and the "SETUPKIT.DLL" of this diskette to setup their application on
  37. any PC.

  104.         2) On the FILE menu option, select RUN and type A:\SETUP

  106.         3) When the setup program asks for a directory, specify initial
  107.            directory, or accept the given default (C:\CUSGEN).

  127. CUSGEN is not and has never been public domain software, nor is it free software.
  128.  
  129.  Non-licensed users are granted a limited license to use CUSGEN
  130.  on a 15-day trial basis for the purpose of determining
  131.  whether CUSGEN is suitable for their needs.   The use
  132.  of CUSGEN, except for the initial 15-day trial,
  133.  requires registration.  The use of unlicensed copies of CUSGEN,
  134.  outside of the initial 15-day trial, by any person,
  135.  business, corporation, government agency or any other entity is
  136.  STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

  138.  A single user license permits a user to use CUSGEN
  139.  only on a single computer.  Licensed users may use the
  140.  program on different computers, but may not use the program
  141.  on more than one computer at the same time.

  143.  No one may modify or patch the CUSGEN executable files
  144.  in any way,  including but not limited to decompiling,
  145.  disassembling, or otherwise reverse engineering the program.

  147.  A limited license is granted to copy and distribute CUSGEN
  148.  only for the trial use of others, subject to the above
  149.  limitations, and also the following:

  151.   1)    CUSGEN must be copied in unmodified form, complete
  152.         with the file containing this license information.

  154.   2)    The full machine-readable CUSGEN documentation must
  155.         be included with each copy.

  157.   3)    CUSGEN may not be distributed in conjunction with
  158.         any other product with out a specific license to do so

  162.   LIMITED WARRANTY

  165.   product for a period of 60 days from the date of original
  166.   purchase.

  168.   RMJ Software warrants that all disks provided by RMJ Software
  169.   are free from defects in material and workmanship, assuming
  170.   normal use, for a period of 60 days from the date of
  171.   purchase.

  174.   in substantial compliance with the documentation supplied
  175.   with the software product.  If a significant defect in
  176.   the product is found, the Purchaser may return the
