  1. BMPLST - List Box with Bitmaps Custom Control             Unregistered Version

  4. BmpLst gives you a convenient way to have pictures in your list box
  5. with text, item data, and all of the other normal list box properties.
  6. The picture is placed (at a user specified distance) above the text
  7. for each item.  Tab stops/columns are supported.

  9. BmpLst supports all three VB picture formats: bitmap, metafile, and
  10. icon.

  28. LICENSING / DISTRIBUTION

  30. You may distribute the registered VBX with your applications royalty-free.
  31. You may not disitrbute the registered VBX without your application (except
  32. as an update for an already installed program).  Each developer should
  33. register BmpLst for use on their machine.

  38. You can register this program by sending $20 and your address
  39. (international orders should send $22).  If you are a CompuServe member,
  40. you can register this in the Software Registration forum (GO SWREG).

  44. is $15.  Registrations done via the SWREG forum on CompuServe are
  45. E-mailed to your CompuServe account.  I can mail files to Internet

  52. Source code for this program is available for $45 ($50 for international
  53. orders).  A registered version of the control comes with the source code.
  54. So, you are automatically registered when you get the source code.

  112. Updates are free.  For minor releases (such as if I correct a 
  113. spelling mistake in this README file), you probably won't hear from
  114. me.  I'll be happy to send it to you anyway, if you ask for it.
  115. But, when a major release is made (lots of extra functionality
  116. bug fix, etc.), I will notify all registered users.  And, I'll make
  117. every attempt to properly update everyone.
