  1. This archive contains five custom controls.

  4. IMPORTANT NOTE:
  5. Place the control archive in the directory you want. Use the command 
  6. pkunzip -d 5pak20.zip then pkunzip -d 5pak36.zip to decompress the 
  7. archive with a directory structure.

  10. BALLOON.VBX provides balloon help popup windows for all form controls.
  11. SHADBX.VBX provides a popup shadowed text message, like windows help does.
  12. CLACKER.VBX provides the hooks for dynamic menu help using a status bar.
  13. NUMWIN.VBX enumerates and returns hWnds for all desktop windows and controls.
  14. SNDDEX.VBX Soundex and enhanced Soundex word matching and searching.
  15. Help files included.

  23. REGISTRATION
  24.  
  25. You can register these Controls by either:
  26.  
  27. 1. On-Line registration with Compuserve, type GO SWREG and register
  28.     product number 1220.  The fee is $35.00 for registered versions
  29.     of all FIVE CONTROLS. The registered versions will be sent by 
  30.     return E-Mail.
  31. 2. Sending $35 (plus tax) with your name and address to the address below.
  32. 3. Updates are $3.50 to cover distribution costs.
  33. 4. VISA and MC are accepted. We accept phone orders and E-Mail orders.
  34.     For Visa/MC orders please include exact name on card, postal
  35.     address of the card holder, card number, and expiration date.

  37. Registering the control will get the registered runtime and a design time 
  38. special debugging version of the control useful in helping you verify the 
  39. operation of your application when using the control. Special debugging 
  40. checks are made on various parameters and at critical locations in the 
  41. debugging control to provide you with feedback on proper control and 
  42. program operation.
