  14.    The shareware-version of PowerTable can be copied freely, if the

  17.    The PTBL10.ZIP-file is the whole sharware-package and contains

  41. B. Requirements
  42. ---------------

  47. 1. Installation

  50.    Extract the PWRTBL.ZIP file to a separate directory.
  51.  
  52.    The extracted files TRUEGRID.VBX and THREED.VBX must be copied into your 
  53.    \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.

  55.    If you want to replace your VB-Data-Manager, you just have to copy the
  56.    extracted file DATAMGR.EXE into your VB-home-directory.
  57.  
  58.    Note that PowerTABLE does not support FoxPro 2.0- and dBase III-tables. 
  59.    All other formats are supported: Access, dBase IV, FoxPro 2.5, 
  60.    Paradox 3.x and Btrieve.

  65. 2. Getting Started
  66. ------------------
  67.    If you have replaced the VB-Data-Manager, you just have to choose
  68.    Window->Data Manager from the VB-Menu. Otherwise run your file-manager
  69.    an start DATAMGR.EXE.

  72. 3. PowerTABLE is fresh and quick

  74.    Before you are going to modify important data-tables with PowerTABLE,
  75.    you should make a backup of these files; better: you should learn it┤s 
  76.    usage with a some test-files.

  78.    No warranty for your databases, tables, existing data or anything else!

  80.    If you find a bug (nothing is perfect), something bad, or if you miss
  81.    a feature, please let us know about it.

  95.    you want to continue working with PowerTABLE in the future, you should
  96.    register PowerTABLE.

  98.    This can be done by simply sending a short order to us, a few dollars 
  99.    or deutschmarks and - of course - your home adress and if possible,
  100.    your CompuServe ID.

  102.    A few days later, we will send you a registration-number, either by 
  103.    'normal'-mail or e-mail - however you want to get it.
  104.    This number is good for one user or one workstation. If you need a 
  105.    multi-user version, you must not pay the whole fee for each user, just
  106.    tell us how many users will work with PowerTable, and we will make
  107.    you a special price.

  110.    forget that we made this work. Shareware can be a great thing for 
  111.    everyone, for you and for us. It┤s just a kind of fairness.
