  15. Installation instructions:
  16.     copy all the dll's and vbx's to the windows system directory
  17.     make a directoy for the code libararian    
  18.     copy everything  else there
  19.  
  20. What is Code Libararian?
  21. It is a function/procedure/object and code fragment archiver. it allows you to place 
  22. all of you favorite code samples into one place, and have them at hand when ever 
  23. you want them.

  25. How does it work?
  26. 1.    While in your favorite editor, simply copy a code fragment to the clipboard.
  27. 2.    press the add button on the Codelib screen
  28. 3.    fill in the ID field (Mandatory)
  29. 4.    fill in the description field (Optional)
  30. 5.    press the update key (It was the add key but it changed) 
  31. presto! your code is copied off of the clipboard into the codelib database
  32.  
  33. How do I get my code out of codelib?
  34. 1.    Select the fragment you want by dropping down the list box and clicking on the 
  35. desired item
  36. 2.    Press the "Put To Clipboard" button on the lower right hand corner
  37. 3.    While in your favorite editor simply select the position at which you would like 
  38. to paste the code.
  39. 4.    select paste from your editors edit menu.
  40. There it is large as life.

  42. Things you should remember:
  43. Since the code lib uses the clipboard to transfer info back and forth between your 
  44. editor and the program the old contents of the clipboard will be erased.
  45. This program is shareware: this means that you do not own it, I do. If you feel it is 
  46. very useful send me some money, if you don't remove it from you hard drive 
  47. and forget about it.

  49. What do you get for registering:
  50. *    You get to feel good about your self for contributing to the over all goodness of 
  51. humanity in my mind.
  52. *    You get to get a new, shiny 3 1/2 inch diskette, hand labeled by me, sent to 
  53. your home.
  54. *    You get the right to ask me questions about this and other programs, and to 
  55. suggest new features.
  56. *    You get a full registered version with the ability to load different databases. 
  57. (This is useful for maintaining separate libraries for each language you use)
  58. the full version also has:
  59.     A code editor: Not a really brilliant one but it can read the database, and help 
  60. you search and etc..
  61.     search functions.
  62.     further separation of libraries by class (not object classes but types of 
  63. functions.)

  65. *    And finally and most importantly you get to show off to your friends about how 
  66. you actually registered a piece of shareware!

  69.     this program isn't yours its mine.
  70.     I don't care if you send me money ,it is still mine.
  71.     if you send me money I'll let you use it for longer than 30 days
  72.     if you use it, i am NOT responsible for anything.

  74.     if it blows up you computer, starts Armageddon, jumps out of the box and kills 
  75. you, sets fire you your wife, eats your dog, and causes you lots and lots of pain 
  76. suffering, monetary damage, and loss of life and limb, I still am not 
  77. responsible, You use this software at Your Own Risk!. Even if you get a nasty 
  78. paper cut opening the package, it is entirely your fault. (Even if I have been 
  79. advised that these things might happen)
  80. Furthermore: if some stupid, lame-brained, Judge or Jury decides it is my fault, 
  81. the most you can squeeze out of my tight little white butt is the amount I 
  82. squeezed out of yours for the original license.
  83. I also don't warrant this program for fitness for any particular purpose. If you paid 
  84. for it and it doesn't do what you wanted it to--TOUGH!
  85. If you don't like this get rid of the program now.
