  6. VB_ADDINS is a Visual Basic Design Environment enhancement utility with the following features:

  8. * 1. Up to 10 saved Code Window Bookmarks per project.
  9. * 2. Load Picture/Icon Dialog enhanced with 'Picture Preview' functionality.
  10. * 3. Find and Find/Replace Dialogs enhanced to include scrolling (Up/Down arrow) through previous text entries.
  11. * 4. View Procedures Dialog is resized, rearranged and greatly expanded to show many more Modules and Procedures.
  12. * 5. Right mouse click on any form or control for Properties Window.
  13. * 6. Hot-Key access to VB Toolbox and VB Project Window.
  14. * 7. Hot-Key to maximize or 'normalize' VB Code Windows.
  15. * 8. Instant-Watch Window enhanced to display up to 250 characters of
  16. watch variable (great for long SQL queries).

  19. INSTALLATION:
  20. =============
  21. 1. Copy VB_ADDIN.ZIP to \VB\VB_ADDIN (or a directory of your choosing).

  23. 2. Unzip VB_ADDIN.ZIP

  25. 3. Create or Add VB_ADDINS to a new or existing group in Program Manager. Note: Many users place VB_ADDINS in their Windows Startup Group.

  28. OPERATION:
  29. ==========
  30. Run VB_ADDINS from the Program Manager and VB_ADDINS will         automatically connect to Visual Basic. If Visual Basic is not loaded, VB_ADDINS will wait (quietly!) in the background and automatically connect to Visual Basic when Visual Basic is loaded.

  32. VB_ADDINS can remain active between Visual Basic sessions, automatically connecting and disconnecting with Visual Basic.

  58. VB_ADDINS is written in Visual Basic using SpyWorks from DesaWare.

  60. I have tried to make VB_ADDINS as non-intrusive as possible. My goal was to provide the Visual Basic developer with a genuinely useful tool that doesn't 'get in his or her way'. I hope I have achieved that goal.
