  8. GENERAL INFORMATION  : In the past we have recommended that users do not 
  9. format their ESDI drives using COMPSURF.  They should use another format 
  10. program.  For example, the IBM Advanced Diagnostics disk for ISA machines, 
  11. or the reference disk for PS/2 machines.

  13. This is still a problem even with NetWare 386.  We should continue to tell 
  14. customers not to low-level format their ESDI drives with COMPSURF or the 
  15. 386 Install NLM.
