  4.     We are adding capabilities right and left.  The main one missing from 
  5. the manual is the capability of rapid command line file transfer.  We have
  6. been dismayed by the inability of the fancy communications software packages
  7. to be called from a batch file with the filename(s) on the command line.
  8. So we felt that it would be important to add this capability.
  9.  
  10.     Here's how it works as of this date:
  11.         To send the file "patrick.dat" type: sportt t patrick.dat
  12.         To receive it, go over to the other computer and type:
  13.                               sportt r
  14.     Don't forget to use a null modem cable!
  15.  
  16.     It doesn't matter which side you start first--they both wait patiently
  17.     for the other.
  18.  
  19.     The filename from the sending computer will be used on the receiving 
  20. end automatically.  We think this is the easiest way for simple file trans-
  21. fer.
