- The following modules and utility programs are (or soon will be) available to
- REGISTERED users.
-
-
- AVAILABLE NOW (6/1/89)
-
- -------
- C&P.MOD
-
- The "Cadillac" of Cut and Paste programs, C&P.MOD provides a full-screen editor
- with "insert" and "overwrite" modes, 2 methods of cutting text, 3 modes of for-
- matting the cut text, and 5 destinations to which to send the text. All of
- this fits into 1600+ bytes of memory.
-
- Price: $4.95
-
- --------
- PARK.MOD
-
- PARK.MOD parks the R/W heads of all fixed disks attached to a system, after a
- (user-selected) number of minutes of no hard disk activity. A hot key is
- available to park the hard disk heads immediately (in an emergency). PARK.MOD
- uses less than 200 bytes of memory.
-
- Price: $1.95
-
- --------
- SNIP.COM
-
- SNIP.COM "snips" a single module from the module ring, and moves the other mod-
- ules down to fill the vacated space (a poor man's Pop-Drop *, if you will).
- SNIP.COM uses NO memory, as each module "header" supplies SNIP.COM with the
- information needed to delete that module.
-
- Price: $3.95
-
- -----
- PKjr.
-
- A tiny (1300 bytes) version of PK.COM/PKII.MOD. PKjr. does most of the same
- things, but the parameters (display blank time, cursor wait time, repeat speed,
- etc.) must be set when PKjr. is loaded. ANSI.MOD need not be in memory, as PK
- jr. is a stand-alone program. PKjr. is for those times when you must have
- every byte of memory you can beg, borrow, or steal, but still can't live
- without POWERKIT (II)'s wondrous features.
-
- Price: $6.95
-
- ------------------

- area, and 8086 assembly language instructions. Templates for the numeric key-
- pad to draw boxes, print the characters (math, Greek, other European, miscell-
- aneous) that now can be printed only by holding down ALT, while entering their
- numeric code. Also, a template for the ASCII codes below 32. Each template
- comes with its own pop-up help screen. More tables and templates will be added
- from time to time, at little or no charge to prior users.

- specified by the user.

- MEMM.MOD
-
- MEMM.MOD is a memory manager that swaps blocks of memory to/from expanded
- memory, or disk. With MEMM.MOD, POWERKIT II's KEYPAD 5, E, "shell to DOS",
- command, is greatly enhanced, because when MEMM.MOD sees it being invoked,
- MEMM.MOD automatically swaps out the currently running program. When you are
- finished, the program is swapped back in, and resumes its task where it left
- off. This makes almost the full 640k of memory available for the secondary
- task, and turns the rather modest KEYPAD 5, E command into a sort of "poor
- man's Software Carousel *". MEMM.MOD will be used by other modules too (in
- fact, it MUST be present before they will work, see below).
-
- Price: $2.95
-
- --------
- BAKS.MOD
-
- BAKS.MOD saves all text that scrolls off the screen, for later retrieval, and
- perusal, at your leisure.

- --------
- EDIT.MOD
-
- A pop-up full-featured text editor, for notes (which could be put into "view-
- only" macros), memos, letters, etc. (NOTE: Some future modules -- phone/address
- book, note pad, activity calendar, etc. -- will require EDIT.MOD to be loaded
- before they will work.)
-

-
- --------
