  12.         This  directory  contains  drivers for  use   on  AutoShade  ver.
  13.         1.0/1.1 and AutoShade 386 ver. 1.1.  The directory should contain
  14.         the following:
  15.  
  16.                  o ACAD54B.EXE   - This driver supports 2 modes
  17.                                    * 800x600 16-color
  18.                                    * 1024x768 16-color - requires
  19.                                      512K of video memory (This
  20.                                      mode is only for V4 board & up)
  21.                  o ACAD61B.EXE   - This driver supports 3 modes
  22.                                    * 640x400 256-color
  23.                                    * 640x480 256-color - requires
  24.                                      512K of video memory
  25.                                    * 800x600 256-color  - requires
  26.                                      512K of video memory
  27.                  o ACAD65B.EXE   - 1024x768 16-color driver - requires
  28.                                    512K of video memory (This mode is
  29.                                    for V3 board)
  30.                  o ACAD67B.EXE   - 1024x768 4-color driver
  31.                  o ACADDRV.EXE   - Driver installation program. This
  32.                                    program is started by the main program
  33.                                    VDRIVER.EXE.
  34.                  o README.SHD    - This file.

  36.         The setup procedure is as follows:
  37.  
  38.         1. Install AutoShade on your hard disk.
  39.  
  40.         2. Run the VDRIVER.EXE and  follow the  instructions given by the
  41.            program.
  42.  
  43.         3. After the installation, type ASHADE to start AutoShade.  The
  44.            ASHADE.BAT is created by VDRIVER.

  47.         CONFIGURING AUTOSHADE
  48.  
  49.         1. Select   option  [1]  for  Autodesk  Device Interface  display
  50.            driver and enter the selected interrupt vector.
  51.  
  52.         2. Select  option [1] for  Autodesk  Device  Interface  rendering
  53.            display driver and enter selected interrupt vector.
  54.  
  55.         3. Enter  YES  for the  display and  rendering devices sharing  a
  56.            single screen.
  57.  
  58.         4. a.Enter  YES for "Flip Screen" requiring a redraw if  you  use
  59.              option 'r' alone or do not use option 'r' at all.

  64.            b.Enter  No  for "Flip Screen" requiring a redraw if  you  use
  65.              both options 'r' and 'g'.

  67.         See README.ACA for more details about options 'r' and 'g'.
  68.         LOADING THE ADI DRIVERS FOR AUTOSHADE
  69.  
  70.         The  ADI  drivers are selected exactly as for  AutoCAD.  All  the
  71.         options are available except options 'd', '2' and 'p'. For  Auto-
  72.         Shade option 'w' is enabled automatically.
  73.  
  74.         For more details about the available options, see README.ACA.
  75.  
  76.         The  ADI  drivers provided use interrupt 7A as default.  You  can
  77.         select  different  interrupt if required. You must use  the  same
  78.         interrupt value for the ADI drivers and for the ADI display.
