  1.                 Protocol Engine REGISTERED LICENSE AGREEMENT

  4.      GRANT  OF  LIMITED  LICENSE:  Registered  users  may use this source
  5.      code in the writing of their own programmes on a single  computer at
  6.      any one time. Treat  this source  code like a book,  it must  not be
  7.      used by  more than one compiler at any one time.  You are allowed to
  8.      make backups  for your own  needs, but you  are not allowed to copy,
  9.      distribute, sell or allow another copy of the source code to be used
  10.      or compiled on more than one CPU at one time.

  12.      Under  NO  circumstances  may  you  distribute  any versions of this
  13.      source code in any form,  modified,  original  or  as a pre-compiled
  14.      Turbo Pascal Unit.

  16.      The  author, Mark Dignam, retains ALL copyright to this source code.
  17.      However,  any  executable  programmes that  are created or  compiled
  18.      using either sections or all  of The Protocol Engine are yours,  the
  19.      registered  user, to do with as you wish. The author does not wish a
  20.      royalty  payment for any of your executables that are using sections
  21.      of  the  Protocol Engine, but a note to the effect that the Protocol
  22.      Engine was used in the creating of a software product would be nice.

  24.      This  software  is  without  warrantee of any kind. Registered users
  25.      assume all the risks of its use.

  27.      The  author  agrees  to  supply  registered  users  with  the latest
  28.      version of the Protocol Engine and will supply  updates as they  are
  29.      publicly  released for a  period of 6 (six) months  from the date of
  30.      registration.  These updates will  be available from the Perth  Omen
  31.      BBS, 3:690/660@fidonet, +61-9-244-2111.

  34.      understands it, and agrees to be bound by its terms and conditions.
