  1. The following DOS commands can be issued with the DEMO disk:

  3. READ-ME         Gives an introduction to using the demo disk.
  4.  
  5. DEMO         Starts the in-depth demo / tutorial.
  6.  
  7. HELP         Demonstrates a simple on-line help system for DOS commands.
  8.          It displays this file.  It demonstrates how VEDIT PLUS can
  9.          be used for tasks which have nothing to do with editing.
  10.  
  11. WILDFILE     Starts a multiple-file processing macro.  It can perform the
  12.          UNIX "grep" function and much more.  The demo explains this
  13.          in more detail.
  14.  
  15. VDEMO filename     Lets you edit the file "filename".  Remember that the demo
  16.          only saves small files to disk.
  17.  
  18. VPCONFIG VDEMO        Lets you configure the demo version of VEDIT PLUS.
  19.             (Only the 3-1/2" demo disk has the VPCONFIG program.)
  20.  
  21. VDEMO -X PRINT filename        Prints "filename" with simple formatting -
  22.                 60 lines per page, with filename, date and
  23.                 page number at the top of each page.
  24.  
  25. VDEMO -X DISPLAY filename    Displays "filename" on the screen, letting
  26.                 user scroll back and forth through the file.
  27.                 A help window gives directions.
