  2. There seems to be a misunderstanding on how to utilize the bbs at 2400 baud.
  3. As my welcome message states and from many messages that I have left, still,
  4. many users still do not know how to switch to 2400 baud! Therefore, I will
  5. repeat the instructions once again as a bulletin. Please, DO NOT leave
  6. me any more messages on this subject.

  8. To switch to 2400 baud, once you get the initial connect and the garbage
  9. characters stop being displayed, sent me a BREAK and the getty will switch the
  10. comm port to 2400 baud. If you send another break, the system will switch back
  11. to 1200 baud. As stated above, the BREAK sequence is used by Unix/Xenix as the
  12. command to change baud rates prior to a login.
