Enclosed is a copy of my current resume. As it indicates, I am eager to work and know the importance of taking a job seriously. This is illustrated by the fact that have worked every summer since I was a junior in high school, most recently as an office assistant and researcher for State Senator Constance Brown. I am also a quick learner, having earned a 3.6 GPA (out of 4.0) in college, and am brimming with energy and enthusiasm.
As we discussed, my recent experiences at the State House have given me particular interest in a career-track job with a state or city government.
