  1. Tasks Scheduler
  2. ---------------

  4. You can run tasks with the Task scheduler at selected set times and days.
  5. Or you can run it as an alarm with the built in program alarm sound.

  7. Instructions
  8. ============

  10. Add Tasks
  11. ---------
  12. Click the "Add Task" button,
  13. Select Days:
  14.          (1=Sunday, 2=Monday, 3=Tuesday, 4=Wednesday, 5=Thursday, 
  15.           6=Friday and 7=Saturday)
  16. Select time: 
  17.           You can select time in the hh:mm:ss AM/PM format or hh:mm:ss
  18.           long format(23:00:05). Click the AM/PM until it gets blank in
  19.           order to select long time format.

  21. Select Program
  22.        Click the "Browse" button and browse to the program you want
  23.        to execute.
  24. Click the "Add Schedule" button
  25.  
  26. Task check box gets selected automatically, deselect check box to disable it.

  28. Save

  30. Be sure to save configuration otherwise you will loose it if computer
  31. freezes.

  34. Alarm

  36. Instead of clicking the "Browse" button and placing a path, click the
  37. Play Sound, it will place ".WAV" in path, the ".WAV" tells the Task
  38. scheduler to play sound.

  40. Edit Tasks
  41. ---------
  42. Highlight task and click the "Edit" button, same as instructions above.
  43. You can highlight then right click list and select Edit or Remove.

  45. Remove Task
  46. ----------
  47. Highlight task and click the "Remove" button to remove it.
  48. You can highlight then right click list and select Edit or Remove.

  50. Run

  52. Highlight task and click the "Run" button to run it now.

  55. Hide

  57. Once you click the "Hide" button, it will place its icon in the Systray.
  58. Click Options\Hide On Startups for it to hide on Startups Automatically.

  60. File Menu
  61. ---------
  62. Click Test Alarm to test it, it suppose to be three consecutive Win95
  63. combined Beep and Alert sounds then a message.

  65. Click Quick Alarm, this one is different than the one in the
  66. list. Use it to give you a ring in 5, 10, 20 minutes.

  69. OPTIONS MENU
  70. ============
  71. Check mark on menu means its a selected item.

  73. Hide On Startups
  74. ----------------
  75. It will hide and Startups and place its icon in the Systray.
  76. Right click icon to show the File menu
  77. Double click icon to Show Task Scheduler.

  79. Add To Startup
  80. -------------
  81. If Checked then it is already added to Startups, otherwise it 
  82. has to be selected for it to monitor and resume tasks and
  83. monitor MinuteMan Timed backups.

  85. Set Startup Delay
  86. -----------------
  87. Enter a number above 20 seconds, if MinChild clashes with
  88. any other program then set higher numbers.
