- About this demonstration version:

- This is a demonstration version of the Jack Nicklaus 4 golf simulation.
- A separate demo of the Golf Course Designer is also available.
- This demo includes the first three holes from Muirfield Village Golf Club.
- The following list describes what is in this demo:

- *Use one animated golfer.
- *Play Stroke Play only.
- *Single player or shared keyboard modes of play only.

- Installation:
- 1. Open the "JN4Demo" Directory
- 2. Double Click the "Setup.exe" icon
- 3. Follow the installations instructions that appear on your screen.

- Known problems that will be fixed in the final version:

- *On some machines, the swing meter will occasionally hesitate.
- *Some stats are not accurate.
- *Maximum resolution of 800x600.
- *Performance will improve in the final version.

- Basic Controls:
-
- Right/Left Arrow Aiming
- Up/Down Arrow Intensity (easy or hard swing with chosen club)
- Control Key and Rt/Lt Arrow Fade/Draw shot
- Control Key and Up/Dn Arrow High/Low shot

- All controls can also be made with the mouse.

- Swing Meter
- Click on the golfer or hit the space bar to bring up the meter.
- Click once to start meter, click again at power mark (top) and
- again at accuracy mark (bottom).
- Power mark corresponds to clubs distance as seen in the Club Info area
- and will be accurate based on shot hit off level fairway with no wind
- (in other words, need to compensate for shots out of rough, sand, etc.).

- Use right click menu to access most common features.

- Animate Grid
- Choose Animate Grid in the View menu to get additional terrain help.
