  14. 6.30 Product update
  15. -------------------
  16. Some items which are changed in both the DOS scanner and TBAV for Windows
  17. are mentioned in the file 'whatsnew.630'. Please read that particular file
  18. as well.

  20. Please read the accompanying 'README.1ST' file for more information about
  21. some features of TBAV for Windows.

  23. TbavWin:
  24.   - TBAV for Windows now contains a Windows-based setup utility (the Windows
  25.     equivalent for the TbSetup DOS program) to calculate fingerprint 
  26.     information of your executable files.
  27.  
  28.   - We implemented a Windows-based application execution tracker. When
  29.     TBAV for Windows is active (either on the background or minimized),
  30.     each application you start from within MS-Windows will be checked for
  31.     viruses.

  33.   - The TBAV for Windows user interface has been redesigned, resulting in
  34.     a more easier-to-use environment.
  35.  
  36.   - TBAV for Windows will now scan your internal memory for viruses
  37.     when it is loaded.

  39.   - Some internal variables used by the internal scanner were not
  40.     correctly initialized, causing minor problems when the scanner was
  41.     executed twice. This has been fixed.

  43.   - The file I/O monitor of TBAV for Windows did not correctly check files
  44.     if more than one file was copied at a time. This is now fixed.

  46.   - Fixed some minor problems with the built-in scheduler.

  48.   - Some bugs in the virus scan engine have been fixed.

  50.   - Some extra logic has been integrated to the scan engine to avoid false 
  51.     positives.

  55.   - The Install program would crash if your AutoExec.Bat file had the
  56.     read-only attribute set. This is now fixed.
