Mordorventure III v6.0

System requirements:
1. EGA-VGA.
2. 640K ram.
3. Microsoft compatable mouse.
Installing:
1. Create a directory for mordorventure.
2. Copy the mordorventure program and all of its files to your
mordorventure directory.
Running:
1. Change to your mordorventure directory and enter "mdv" at the DOS
prompt. The sound options menu will appear first.
2. Select game description. This will give you a brief description of the
game.
3. Now select instructions. This accesses the built-in documentation
for Mordorventure III.
4. Once you've read the intructions, select Sound on to begin the game
with sound on.
5. The game will now initialize castles (1 time only). Next it will
initialize images (takes just a sec). Then the Load player menu will
appear.
6. Select Start new player.
7. Enter a name for the player.
8. Select a class (fighter/mu).
9. Select a player type (human/computer).
10. The Load player menu will reappear to let you load the next player.
If desired you may start additional players (up to 5).
11. When you've started the desired player(s), select Start adventuring
to begin playing the game. New players start in a city. Start by
buying food, weapons, and armor. After that you are ready for action.

Differences between the registered and unregistered versions:
The unregistered version allows you to play a human fighter. The
following features are only available in the registered version:
1. No limit on experience.
2. Character editor.
3. Castle construction.
4. Twice as many monsters.
5. Many Many more magic items.
6. No limit on dungeon levels.
7. Ressurections.
8. Healing.
9. Quests.
10. Enter dungeon at levels up to 100.
11. Gambling.
12. Non-player (computer) characters.
13. Castle storage.
14. Troops.
15. Load and save characters.
16. Magic users.
