  6. Q: What is Alien Logic all about? 
  7.  
  8. A: Alien Logic is set on the far-off world of Jorune, settled by colonists
  9. just before a catastrophic war cut off all communications with Earth. At
  10. first friendly with Jorune's native life forms, humans eventually attempted
  11. to conquer their new home. The result: hundreds of years of bloody conflict.
  12. Three thousand five hundred years later, Earth is only a shadowy myth. Humans
  13. and other races live together, surviving by using the technology and tools from
  14. distant times. This is your time on Jorune. As a young explorer, you discover
  15. a plot that threatens the safety of your friends, your home, and finally, your
  16. world. Gather your power and skills while traveling the face of the planet.
  17. Solve mysteries, and engage in deadly combat to prepare yourself for the final 
  18. encounter with an enemy from Jorune's hidden, terrifying past.

  21. Q: I'm having problems installing the game. What can I do? 
  22.  
  23. A: Alien Logic will not run on a compressed hard drive. Be sure the drive you
  24. install the game to is a drive that has ample space and is not compressed. Be
  25. sure to install the game from DOS, never from inside of Windows or Windows 95.
  26. If you continue to experience problems installing Alien Logic, run "install fast"
  27. instead of just "install"

  30. Q: The game appears to "hang" while I'm in the save game screen. Why? 
  31.  
  32. A: You need to hit the <enter> key to finish the save game process, otherwise
  33. the game will appear to hang.

  36. Q: While I play the game, sometimes it crashes out to DOS with an Cleash Commander/null
  37. jig tokens error message. What can I do? 
  38.  
  39. A: You need to update your version of the game to v1.1, as this is a bug and has been
  40. fixed. Please note, you will have to start the game over, as older saved games are
  41. no compatible with the latest version of the game.

  44. Q: The game seems to hang and crash. Why? 
  45.  
  46. A: Be sure to boot with a boot disk as per the instructions on your data card. It
  47. is very important that files be set to 60 in your CONFIG.SYS file; specifically,
  48. FILES=60. Be sure not to play Alien Logic from Windows! Alien Logic is a DOS only
  49. game and will not operate properly from a Windows environment.
