  9. Thank you for downloading the Interstate '76 Direct 3D BETA patch.  Please 
  10. keep in mind that this is only a BETA patch, and we will be releasing a 
  11. final D3D patch within the near future.

  13. Here are the current issues we know about in this release:
  14.  
  15. 1) Problem:  Using a 3Dfx VooDoo "pass through" card with a Diamond 
  16.    Stealth 3D or the Hercules Dynamite 128 cards (or some other S3 or Tseng 
  17.    based cards), you might experience some blank screens.
  18.  
  19.    Solution:  If the latest drivers do not work, you need to use the
  20.    generic S3 ViRGE or Tseng drivers.  In case you don't have them, you can 
  21.    download them at http://www.s3.com or http://www.tseng.com.

  23. 2) Problem:  While playing the Auto-Melee mission, "Oil Well Well," if 
  24.    you fail the scenario and hit the replay button, sometimes you will 
  25.    get a black screen which causes your system to crash.  
  26.  
  27.    Solution:  A hard reboot is required in this case.
  28.  
  29. 3) Problem:  When saving your games with the same name repeatedly 
  30.    sometimes you'll run into the problem of the game not being saved.
  31.    
  32.    Solution: Use different save game names.
  33.
