  20. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  23. To use PureVoice, you must have the following:
  24.  
  25. -  IBM PC compatible with 486/50 MHz or faster.
  26. -  Microsoft Windows 95 or Windows NT 3.5 or higher for 32-bit version.
  27. -  Windows compatible 16-bit sound system and microphone to create voice messages.
  28. -  8 MB RAM

  32. INSTALLATION

  35. To install PureVoice, do the following:
  36.  
  37. 1.    Exit any applications(especially Eudora) you are running.
  38.  
  39. 2.    If you are installing from a software archive, put the archive into a
  40.       directory on your PC and double-click on it to start the self-extracting installer.
  41.   
  42. 3.    Read the Welcome screen, then click Next.
  43.       The Software License Agreement is displayed.
  44.  
  45. 4.    Read the Software License Agreement and click Next (you can also
  46.       save or print the Agreement).
  47.  
  48. 5.    Specify a directory to install PureVoice, then click Next.
  49.       Note:    If you are installing on a PC with Eudora, you should install it under 
  50.       the plugins directory(default) to take advantage of the EMSAPI plug-in of PureVoice.
  51.  
  52. 6.    Verify that the displayed settings are correct, then click Next (or
  53.       use the Back button if you need to go back and make changes).
  54.  
  55. 7.    PureVoice is installed in the destination directory, and you are
  56.       prompted for whether or not you want to view the README file.
