  1. How to install Snack on the Macintosh

  3. You need to have Tcl/Tk 8.3.3 installed in order to use Snack, this can be downloaded from http://www.speech.kth.se/snack/download.html

  5. Move snack.shlb into the ½Tool Command Language½ folder in the Extensions folder.
  6. Python users also need to move the library MW_MSL.PPC.Shlb to the same location.

  8. You need to use the 'millions' display setting for number of colors in order to get spectrograms to display properly. Demos using spectrograms will cause the computer to lock up otherwise.
