  19. Documentation to accompany Magic Hexagons can be found in the Windows help
  20. file MHEX.HLP.  To access this, select Contents from the Help menu in Magic
  21. Hexagons.

  23. Magic Hexagons is a simple game for Windows. Further description and
  24. instructions can be found in the help file.

  26. Magic Hexagons was written by Steven Porter, and is entirely my own work.
  27. Magic Hexagons was written using Turbo Pascal for Windows 1.5 from Borland.
  28. Magic Hexagons is an ObjectWindows program.  Portions of this software
  29. package are copyright to Borland International.

  32. and the author (Steven Porter) makes no warranty whatsoever regarding the
  33. product and specifically disclaims any implied warranty or liability of any

  42. The complete package contained within the compressed file and is
  43. distributed as shareware.  It is not free nor is it public domain.  The
  44. copyright of the package is retained with the author (Steven Porter).  This
  45. software can be evaluated for a limited period of 30 days.  Afterwhich, if
  46. you intend to continue using it, you must register with the author (see the 
  47. Windows help file for further information).  You, the user, may freely 
  48. distribute the compressed file, but the individual files contained within 
  49. must not be distributed separately.

  52. INSTALLATION

  55. The compressed file contains the following files:

  57. MHEX.EXE     - Windows executable file
  58. MHEX.TXT     - This text file
  59. MHEX.HLP     - Windows help file
  60. MHEX.INI     - Initialisation file
  61. FILE_ID.DIZ  - Brief description for BBS
  62. VENDOR.DOC   - Vendor documentation
  63. CTL3DV2.DLL  - Microsoft 3D Control DLL
  64.  
  65. All of the files should be located in one directory.
  66.  
  67. The first time you execute JUMP.EXE, the program will move CTL3DV2.DLL to
  68. the windows/system directory.  This makes the installation process easy.
  69. It is not necessary to copy the file yourself.  If however, you have
  70. problems then check that CTL3DV2.DLL is located in the windows/system
  71. directory, and - not - in the Jump directory.

  73. Some users may already have a copy of CTL3DV2.DLL in their windows/system
  74. directory, in which case, Jump will overwrite it automatically. This will
  75. - not - cause any harm to your system because both files should be
  76. identical.

  82. I ask only a nominal fee for registration, so do the right thing and
  83. register.  Registration is now available using CompuServe, and by credit
