- MAGIC HEXAGONS VERSION 1.2
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- Shareware Version
- Interim release 1.2
-
- 30th April 1995
-
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- INTRODUCTION
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- Documentation to accompany Magic Hexagons can be found in the Windows help
- file MHEX.HLP. To access this, select Contents from the Help menu in Magic
- Hexagons.
-
- Magic Hexagons is a simple game for Windows. Further description and
- instructions can be found in the help file.
-
- Magic Hexagons was written by Steven Porter, and is entirely my own work.
- Magic Hexagons was written using Turbo Pascal for Windows 1.5 from Borland.
- Magic Hexagons is an ObjectWindows program. Portions of this software
- package are copyright to Borland International.
-
- The software provided within this package is provided on an "as is" basis
- and the author (Steven Porter) makes no warranty whatsoever regarding the
- product and specifically disclaims any implied warranty or liability of any
- kind.
-
- All trademarks are acknowledged.
-
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- DISTRIBUTION
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- The complete package contained within the compressed file and is
- distributed as shareware. It is not free nor is it public domain. The
- copyright of the package is retained with the author (Steven Porter). This
- software can be evaluated for a limited period of 30 days. Afterwhich, if
- you intend to continue using it, you must register with the author (see the
- Windows help file for further information). You, the user, may freely
- distribute the compressed file, but the individual files contained within
- must not be distributed separately.
-
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- INSTALLATION
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- The compressed file contains the following files:
-
- MHEX.EXE - Windows executable file
- MHEX.TXT - This text file
- MHEX.HLP - Windows help file
- MHEX.INI - Initialisation file
- FILE_ID.DIZ - Brief description for BBS
- VENDOR.DOC - Vendor documentation
- CTL3DV2.DLL - Microsoft 3D Control DLL
-
- All of the files should be located in one directory.
-
- The first time you execute JUMP.EXE, the program will move CTL3DV2.DLL to
- the windows/system directory. This makes the installation process easy.
- It is not necessary to copy the file yourself. If however, you have
- problems then check that CTL3DV2.DLL is located in the windows/system
- directory, and - not - in the Jump directory.
-
- Some users may already have a copy of CTL3DV2.DLL in their windows/system
- directory, in which case, Jump will overwrite it automatically. This will
- - not - cause any harm to your system because both files should be
- identical.
-
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

-
- I ask only a nominal fee for registration, so do the right thing and
- register. Registration is now available using CompuServe, and by credit
- card. Please read the help file for full details (select Help/Contents)
- from the Magic Hexagons menu.
