  4. INSTALLATION:
  5.  
  6. This CD-ROM catalog uses the Extensis Portfolio software browser. If
  7. version 3.0 is installed on your hard drive, you may want to update to
  8. version 4.1, contained on this CD.
  9.  
  10. You do not need to install software to use this disc.  If you have
  11. difficulty launching the catalog (see below), or, if searching the
  12. catalog is too slow, install the Extensis Portfolio Browser (in the
  13. "Install" folder on this disc) and then drag the Plastock.fdb and 
  14. Plastock.adm files to your hard drive. Much faster.

  17. LAUNCHING THE CATALOG
  18.  
  19. If you have NEVER run a Portfolio  catalog on your system, open the
  20. "Portfolio Browser" folder and double-click the "PortBrws.exe"
  21. icon. This is a one-time step; the next time you want to use the a.k.a
  22. catalog, you can double-click the "Plastock.fdb" document icon.

  25. All images are tif files in 24 bit color.  Set your system for millions
  26. of colors (or 24 bit) for best viewing.  Depending on the software
  27. installed on your machine, the display quality and color of the images
  28. may vary.

  31. System requirements: 16 MB RAM, 12x CD ROM drive, Windows 3.1, 95, 98,
  32. or NT. To view certain kinds of files from within the Portfolio Browser,
  33. make certain your system has a recent installation of Apple Computer's
  34. QuickTime system extensions (v3.0 or later), available at
