  3. "YOU SHOULD CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE INSTALLING THIS
  4. SOFTWARE. THIS IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT WHICH CONSTITUTES YOUR AGREEMENT
  5. AS END USER FOR THE USE OF THE ENCLOSED SOFTWARE. BY INSTALLING THIS
  6. SOFTWARE, YOU INDICATE YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THIS LIMITED USE SOFTWARE
  7. LICENSE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, CANCEL
  8. THE INSTALLATION AND PROMPTLY RETURN THE DISK OR DELETE THE SOFTWARE
  9. FROM YOUR SYSTEM.

  11. LIMITED USE SOFTWARE LICENSE

  13. Sharp Electronics Corporation, as Licensor, grants to you, the Licensee, 
  14. a non-exclusive software license to use the Software and related 
  15. documentation supplied herein.  The terms of this license are as follows:

  17. 1.  You may use the Software on as many computers as desired.
  18. 2.  As the Licensee, you own the physical media on which the Software is
  19.     recorded, if any. The Licensor retains title and ownership of the
  20.     Software, regardless of the form or media in or on which the original
  21.     and other copies may exist.  This License is not a sale of the
  22.     original Software or any copy thereof.
  23. 3.  You may distribute or otherwise make the Software or documentation
  24.     available to any third party without the prior written consent of the
  25.     Licensor.
  26. 4.  You may NOT modify or alter the Software.  Any portion of the Software
  27.     that is merged into or used in conjunction with other software will
  28.     continue to be the property of the Licensor and will be subject to the
  29.     terms of this License.
  30. 5.  You are permitted to copy the Software.  Any such copy must contain
  31.     the same copyright notice and proprietary marking as the original
  32.     software.
  33. 6.  This License is effective until terminated.  This License will
  34.     terminate automatically without notice from the Licensor if you fail
  35.     to comply with any provision of this Agreement.  Upon termination you
  36.     will destroy the Software together with all copies and modifications
  37.     in any form.
  38. 7.  The Software has been tested and the documentation has been reviewed.
  39.     However, THE LICENSOR MAKES NO WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION 
  40.     INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS 
  41.     FOR USE, ALL OF WHICH ARE EXCLUDED.  Some states do not allow 
  42.     exclusion of implied warranties so the above disclaimer may not 
  43.     apply to you.
  44. 8.  The Licensor will not be liable or in any way responsible for any
  45.     incidental or consequential economic or property damage in connection
  46.     with the Software or its documentation.  Some states do not allow the
  47.     exclusion of incidental or consequential damages so the above
  48.     exclusion may not apply to you.

  50. THIS LICENSE GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, YOU MAY ALSO HAVE 
  51. OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE."
