  1. IconVu 1.05 (Freeware)

  3. This utility displays all filenames (up to 300) in a directory
  4. (initially LOC::M:\) on the screen. For each file an icon is
  5. displayed, depending on the type of the file (directory,
  6. document, executable, picture). For picture-files, the content
  7. of the file is used.
  8.  
  9. This program runs on the S3a and S3c only.
  10.  
  11. To install, copy file ICONVU.OPA into any APP-directory, create a
  12. directory APP\ICONVU and copy the files APP.PIC, DIR.PIC, DOC.PIC and
  13. ICONVU.RSC into it.
  14.  
  15. Then use PSION-I in the system-menu to create a new entry in any group.
  16.  
  17. When running the program the first time, a file \OPD\ICONVU.ODB will
  18. be created. It contains the program settings and the association of
  19. file-extensions and programs.
  20.  
  21. Version 1.03 offered more file and directory functions as well as
  22. the possibility to launch applications by pressing Enter after selecting
  23. a file.
  24.  
  25. Version 1.04 offers support for file creation, copy and move of directories,
  26. activation of running applications by selecting a file and shortcuts
  27. for the last 6 directories.

  29. In Version 1.05 items (files or directories) can be marked by pressing Space.
  30. Marked items can be copied, moved or deleted. There are also some
  31. minor bug fixes.
