  16. This version of BMeter includes a feature that allows you to change your
  17. Pilot's battery warning and shutdown voltage threshold. This feature was
  18. added so that those who use Renewals or have other special power needs
  19. can predetermine when they will be warned about low battery conditions
  20. and at what voltage the Pilot should turn itself off to prevent data loss.
  21. USRobotics does not support changing these values and data loss may
  22. result if they are set too low.

  24. I do not recommend, under any circumstances, that you set the Shutdown
  25. Voltage below the default of 0.79 volts. Setting this or the Warning
  26. voltage to higher values than the default should pose no risk.
  27. Regardless, Dovcom assumes no responsibility for any loss of data or
  28. other damages resulting from the use of BMeter. There is no warranty
  29. expressed or implied. And obviously, Hotsync your data before changing
  30. these values.
