- Introduction:
- =============
- This program will help you keep those prying eyes out of your
- personal data. I have written this program because of the security
- problem with the Pilot: Any records marked secret on the Pilot can
- easily be read with any binary editor on the PC. Data that is
- encrypted with this program can only be decrypted with the password
- it was encrypted with.
-
-
- Limits for Shareware version:
- =============================
- The shareware version has two limits:
- - Maximum number of records is 5
- - Annoying Registration reminder
-
-
- Changes:
- ========
- Version 1.0: -Added list view
- -Fixed error on delete record
- -Added registration program
-
- Version 0.95B: -Increased record size to 4096
- -Added New and Delete buttons
- -Show register message less often
- -Better encryption logic
- -Added program icon
- -Added scroll capability to data
-
- Version 0.9B: -Initial Version
-
-
- Instructions:
- =============
- Password Suggestions:
- - use long passwords
- - include numbers and symbols
- - use mixed case passwords
- - do not use the same password as you use to lock your Pilot;
- if the Pilot Desktop can get that password I'm sure others can
- as well
-
- No encryption is perfect. However, if you use long and mixed
- passwords this encryption is very secure.
