- Registration
- -----------------------------------------------------------
-
- Although I don't intend to make money with VR, it is not
- free. You have several alternatives to register - they are
- listed below.
-
- NOTE V1.1: many of the new features in VR 1.1 are accessible
- to registered users only, both as a way to say 'thank you'
- to those who already registered V1.0 or V1.05, and as an
- additional incentive for those who did not yet do so.
-
- VR 1.1 is not 'crippleware' though - it is fully useable in
- the unregistered version so you can take your time,
- evaluate it at ease and decide if you like it. In addition,
- several bugs have been fixed in the new version, new
- features have been added and font management and the
- wrapping algorithm have been enhanced. Registration will
- give you a number of additional 'power user' features. (See
- WHATSNEW.DOC for an overview) A registration will be valid
- for future VR versions as well.
-
-
- Registration alternatives: (select one)
-
- 1. Send a postcard
-
- ... to the address given below. Please don't forget to
- mention your full name and e-mail address so that I can
- compute and send the registration data. Please PRINT and
- use UPPERCASE for this, lower case handwriting is
- error-prone as there are lots of characters that can be
- mistaken for each other (e's and c's, v's and r's, 1's and
- l's, a's and o's etc.).
- Address:
- Gilles Kohl
- Rudolfstr. 12
- D-76131 Karlsruhe
- GERMANY

-
- 2. GO SWREG
-
- If you're a CompuServe user, you can register VR via GO
- SWREG. (Select 'register shareware', then follow the
- on-line instructions). The registration fee for VR is $15
- and will be charged to your CIS bill. The shareware
- registration ID for VR in the SWREG database is 1719, but
- you can also find it using my name (Gilles Kohl) or my CIS
- Id (100114,3146).
-
- As soon as CIS informs me of your registration, I will send
- the registration data via CISMail so that you can turn your
- VR version into a registered one and get access to the
- advanced features. This is probably the fastest, though not
- cheapest, way to turn your VR into a registered version.
-
- (Please don't send cheques as these are usually hard to
- cash in, or carry high surcharges)
-
-
- 3. Donate at least $10 to Project Gutenberg.
-
- All donations should be made to "Project Gutenberg/IBC",
- and are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law
- ("IBC" is Illinois Benedictine College)
-
- For these and other matters, please mail to:

- a short note (at 100114.3146@compuserve.com) so that I can
- in turn send the registration data to you. Additional
