  8. SnapShot is a screen capture program for Windows that uses a camera 
  9. metaphor. You take pictures of the screen by clicking with the right mouse 
  10. button. The right button is enabled and disabled through the menu commands 
  11. Load Film and Unload Film. Each picture is displayed in SnapShot's client 
  12. area and is resized along with SnapShot. Also, the picture is put in the 
  13. Clipboard for availablity to other Windows applications. Also, SnapShot 
  14. includes a fairly comprehensive help system.

  17. Registration and License Agreement
  18.  
  19. The use of SnapShot is subject to the following terms and conditions:
  20.  
  21. SnapShot is copyrighted material, protected by the copyright laws of
  22. the United States. You may not make any changes or modifications,
  23. decompile, disassemble, or otherwise reverse-engineer the software
  24. in any way.
  25.  
  26. SnapShot can be used on a trial basis provided the user does not violate
  27. the protection afforded the licensed software by the copyright laws, 
  28. and the user agrees to the terms of the license agreement. If the user
  29. continues to use SnapShot past a 15 day evaluation period the user is 
  30. obligated to purchase a license.

  32. SnapShot can be used on a Local Area Network provided that a license is 
  33. obtained for the number of users that may concurrently use the software.

  47. Title to the licensed software is NOT transferred to the end user. The 
  48. end user is granted an exclusive license to use the software on one
  49. computer at any given time.

  52. Distribution
  53.  
  54. Users are granted a limited license to copy SnapShot only for the trial use
  55. by others subject to the terms of this software license agreement described
  56. herein, and the conditions described below are met:
  57.  
  58. SnapShot MUST be copied in and unmodified form and MUST contain the following
  59. files:
  60.  
  61.    SnapShot.EXE
  62.    SnapShot.HLP
  63.    SnapShot.TXT
  64.    RBUTTON.DLL
  65.    BHSCC.DLL
  66.  
  67. No fee, charge or other compensation may be accepted or requested by
  68. anyone without the express written permission of Beacon Hill Software.
  69.  
  70. Public Domain Disk Vendors, Shareware Disk Vendors and Distributors of public
  71. domain and user supported software  may not charge a fee for SnapShot itself. 
  72. However, you may include SnapShot on a diskette for which you charge a nominal
  73. distribution fee. The purchaser of said diskette must be informed in advance 
  74. that the fee paid to acquire the diskette does NOT relieve said purchaser 
  75. from paying the registration fee for SnapShot if said purchaser uses SnapShot.

  77. Operators of electronic bulletin board systems may post SnapShot for 
  78. downloading by their users without written permission only as long as the 
  79. above conditions are met. A fee may be charged for access to the bbs as long 
  80. as no specific fee is charged for downloading SnapShot files.

  82. Limited Warranty
  83.  
  84. Beacon Hill Software does not warrant that the licensed software will meet
  85. any requirements or that the operation of the software will be uninterrupted 
  86. or error free. The warranty does not cover any media or documentation which
  87. has been subject to damage or abuse by you or others. The software warranty
  88. does not cover any copy of the licensed software which has been altered or
  89. changed in any way.

  91. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANT ABILITY OR
  92. FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED TO THE TERM OF THE EXPRESS
  93. WARRANTIES. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied
  94. warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

  96. The warranties set forth above are in lieu of any and all other express
  97. or implied warranties, whether oral, written, or implied, and the remedies
  98. set forth above are the sole and exclusive remedies.

  100. Beacon Hill Software is not responsible for any problems or damages caused
  101. by the licensed software that may result from using the licensed software.
  102. This includes, but is not limited to, computer hardware, computer software,
  103. operating systems, and any computer or computing accessories. End user agrees
  104. to hold Beacon Hill Software harmless for any problems arising from the user 
  105. of the software.

  107. Beacon Hill Software SHALL NOT IN ANY CASE BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, 
  108. INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT OR OTHER SIMILAR DAMAGES ARISING FROM
  109. ANY BREACH OF THESE WARRANTIES EVEN IF Beacon Hill Software OR ITS AGENTS
  110. OR DISTRIBUTORS HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE. Some
  111. states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
  112. damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

  114. In no case shall Beacon Hill Software's liability exceed the license fees
  115. paid for the right to use the licensed software.
