  13.         Caero took part in The Party 5 demo competition in
  14.         Denmark. This time we were lucky - the demo won the
  15.         whole competition.
  16.

  19.         Caero was not made in a hellish rush, but it sure interfered
  20.         our studying. The engine took a half year to finish and the
  21.         rest was done in two weeks.

  25.         The whole thing runs under Tran's PMode 2.5 and uses EMF's
  26.         standard demo libraries, including the module player.
  27.  
  28.         If the demo seems slow on your machine, don't blame your
  29.         hardware. It was made on 486/33, so below that it might
  30.         be very ugly. The scenes are complex (more than 7000
  31.         polygons in the butterfly scene for example) and some
  32.         of them have transparent objects and motion blur with colors.

  34.         All the regular phong&bump stuff was ready, but not included
  35.         as a protest to the common trend.

  53.         This demo is the one year tribute production for Plant.
  54.         The whole thing started in late 1993 when Mik Sair was
  55.         designing an intro for TP4. At some point there was need
  56.         for a graphician and music. So Plant was formed Mik Sair
  57.         as a coder, Beatnik as a graphician and Edge doing groovy
  58.         tunes. A prefix Project was added, because none of us
  59.         thought that we would feel like doing this stuff more
  60.         than this one intro, Abraham.
  61.  
  62.         After Abraham there were changes - Project was removed from
  63.         the name and Edge left with it. Right after Edge was retired
  64.         Purple Motion joined. Then the whole fun started.
  65.  
  66.         First there was a friendly little production called Duck
  67.         at Juhla in Iisalmi. Then we made Cyboman 3, the First
  68.         Actual Parody Demo for Juhla 2½. Assembly was closing in
  69.         so we wanted to make a demo. And for our first real demo we
  70.         wanted to make something really groundbreaking. It was
  71.         a few months of blood and sweat running in the forests and
  72.         coast of Southern Finland filming Divine Booty. Unfortunately
  73.         our favourite production was disqualified in the competition -
  74.         probably because of it's perverse and obscene shots.
  75.  
  76.         For an excuse to attend the Scenario party and get drunk in the
  77.         Lahti city we put up Groove Action. This was our last demo
  78.         before Caero, our last demo.

  80.         So we've made five productions altogether. Here are the authentic
