  6. Description:

  8. Small midi/wav player with keyboard-oriented interface. It
  9. is primary meant for making selection out of lots of midi or
  10. wav files (quickly listening and deleting the ones you don't
  11. like). That's why it doesn't have playlist (well, it has the
  12. 'playlist' in some way... check it out and you'll understand
  13. what I mean).

  15. It also plays MP3's, but it uses Media Player's engine, so
  16. you have to install Media Player first (I'm not sure if this
  17. is neccesary in Win98 too).

  23. Just unpack zip file to a directory and it's ready to play.

  27. How to use it:

  29. - command line
  30.     ThaPlay.exe c:\music\mid\song.mid
  31.     ThaPlay.exe c:\music\wav
  32. - associate in windows
  33. - shortcut in Send-To folder
  34. - shortcut on desktop or toolbar, then drag&drop file on it
  35. - copy exe to folder, where midi/wav files are, then just
  36.   run it - it will start playing first file in folder

  38. If there is more than one file in folder, you can move to
  39. others with +/- keys.

  67. Every program message (like errors or song title) are
  68. displayed in caption. So, if you'll get any error message in
  69. standard window with 'OK' and 'Cancel' buttons on it - this
  70. is also considered as a BUG.
