  1. HEAT BETA Client version 1.1

  5. INSTALLATION PROCEDURES:
  6.  
  7. To install the HEAT Beta Client, double click the "Setup.exe".
  8. Follow this standard installation procedure:
  9.  
  10.     When prompted, click on "Yes" to confirm the installation
  11.     of HEAT.
  12.  
  13.     At the disclaimer dialogue, click on "Next" to advance.
  14.  
  15.     Next, specify the path where the HEAT Beta Client will
  16.     reside (or use the default C:\PROGRAM FILES\HEAT
  17.     folder).  Click on "Next" to advance.
  18.  
  19.     The set-up of the HEAT Beta Client is now complete!

  21. REGISTERING YOUR HEAT ACCOUNT FOR THE FIRST TIME:
  22.     
  23.     From the Start Menu, open "Programs", select the "Heat" folder,
  24.     then click on the "Register at www.heat.net" menu selection.  
  25.     Follow the on-screen instructions to register and create your
  26.     HEAT account.  When selecting a Name and Password, be sure
  27.     to use lower case letters.  
  28.  
  29.     If you have already installed HEAT from the CD,    you will not 
  30.     need to download and install Katalyst during 
  31.     the registration process.

  34. LAUNCHING HEAT BETA CLIENT FOR THE FIRST TIME:
  35.

  37.     From the Start Menu, open "Programs", select the "Heat" folder,
  38.     then click on the "www.heat.net Login" menu selection.
  39.  
  40.     At the HEAT Login page, click on the "Log In" button directly 
  41.     beneath the HEAT logo.

  43.     A text box will appear prompting entry of the Name and Password 
  44.     that you selected when you registered your HEAT account.  Be
  45.     sure to enter the Name and Password in LOWER CASE letters.
