  4. This CD-ROM was created in INTIMATE STUDIO development system and is designed 
  5. for Microsoft« Windows« 95. The CD-ROM supports the autoplay system and the 
  6. application will start itself automatically after placing the CD into the 
  7. CD-ROM drive. No installation is necessary.
  8.  
  9. We recommend that you have the following for optimal program performance:
  10. IBM PC compatible, Intel Pentium« processor, 16 MB RAM, 64-bit graphics
  11. accelerator for Microsoft« Windows« 95 (recommended resolution 800x600 True
  12. Color, or High Color), 4X speed CD-ROM drive, Sound BlasterÖ AWE 32, Microsoft«
  13. Windows« 95, CinepakÖ Codec, Microsoft« ADPCM Codec.

  15. Minimal requirements:
  16. IBM compatible, 486 DX2 processor, 8 MB RAM, 1 MB graphics accelerator
  17. (resolution 800x600 256 color, 4X speed CD-ROM drive, 16-bit sound card,
  18. Microsoft« Windows« 95, CinepakÖ Codec, Microsoft« ADPCM Codec.

  20. (CinepakÖ Codec and Microsoft« ADPCM Codec are delivered with the Microsoft«
  21. Windows« 95 installation and it is possible to add them by installing them with
  22. the help of the Control Panel/ Add/Remove Programs/ Windows Setup/ Multimedia/
  23. Details/ Video Compression and Audio Compression).

  25. The average relative volume of the MIDI and wave sounds, which the application
  26. uses, depends on the configuration of your computer and it is necessary to
  27. individually configure them individually with the help of a software audio-
  28. mixer (usually Volume Control).

  30. Problem:
  31. The program does not start after being placed in the CD-ROM drive.
  32. Solution:
  33. Check whether you have support for autoplay for your CD-ROM configured (Control
  34. Panel/ System/ Device Manager/ CD-ROM/ choose the drive from which you will run

  38. The sound breaks up and the animation is jerky.
  39. Solution:
  40. Adjust the size of the cache of the CD-ROM (Control Panel/ System/ Performance/
  41. File System/ CD-ROM). Configure Access Pattern according to the speed of your
  42. CD-ROM drive.

  44. Problem:
  45. MIDI or wave device displays an error message.
  46. Solution:
  47. Close all applications that use a MIDI or wave device, and if necessary,
  48. restart the system.

  50. Problem:
  51. The music does not play.
  52. Solution:
  53. Check whether a MIDI or wave driver has been installed (Control Panel/
  54. Multimedia/ Midi or Audio).

  56. Problem:
  57. The picture zoom is very slow.
  58. Solution:
  59. Switch over to a different graphical setting, if necessary, to an 800x600
  60. resolution (Control Panel/ Display/ Settings/ Color Palette, Desktop Area).
  61. If the problem continues, ask for a new Windows« 95 driver for your graphic
  62. card from the dealer that supplied it.

  65. To run in 256 colors, this application requires 4 to 6 MB RAM, for richer
  66. colors, 6 to 12 MB RAM.
