Transcription: There were only a few impact craters. Why was this? The shadowed surface on the edge of the illuminated disk was in itself peculiar, and looked like a melon skin. The surface, composed of connected grooves, was seen to be full of little hollows of various shapes and sizes. There were dark, irregular areas, from one to two hundred kilometres across, bounded by white borders. Could this be the of volcanic activity? Or perhaps we were seeing large plateaus which had been flooded with lava composed of water, methane and ammonia. How were these created? It is still too early to make a full analysis ...
