Transcription: Cukkobraha and Johan Kepler. Cukkobraha, a Danish nobleman, was born on December 14th 1546. In 1572 he observed a brilliant new star in the constellation of Cassiopeia and henceforth his life was devoted to astronomy. In 1576, with support from the Danish court, he was able to set up an observatory at Veen in the Baltic and from here he produced the most active star catalogue ever made up to that time.
