Pisces and Sagittarius had about 50,000 stars each, and I examined each pair of plates for three days. It was a real pleasure to examine these plates. I could see hundreds of beautiful spiral galaxies. As we were getting into the Milky Way, the number of stars gradually increased. On each plate in the eastern part of Taurus and the western part of Gemini, there were up to 400,000 stars. I looked through them in small groups, about a dozen stars at a time.
