- What is CyrHack?

- CyrHack is a HackMaster extension, allowing for using Russian on PalmOS devices.
- It supports 1251 (Windows), koi8r (Unix), 866 (DOS) and Macintosh encodings

- Using CyrHack
- -----------------------------------------------------------
- To switch layouts, tap Graffiti indicator (Ru/En) with your stilus. Or, use the
- following stroke combinations when there's no Graffiti indicator on the screen:

- \L set English layout
- \R set Russian layout
- \| cycle layouts

- where "\" stands for Extended Shift stroke.

- To change active encoding, double-tap Graffiti indicator or use this stroke
- combination

- \Y pop the encodings list
-
- where "Y" stands for iena (Japanese currency symbol).

- Use CyrHelp application (included) as a reference to CyrHack's strokes.

- Requirements and limitations.

- CyrHack is a Hack (in a good, Pilot sense of the word), so it requires
- a) Pilot and b) HackMaster, an excellent piece of software by Edward Keyes.
- HackMaster is available from http://www.daggerware.com.

- To uninstall CyrHack, perform these steps:
- 1. Turn CyrHack off in HackMaster
- 2. Perform "soft" reset
- 3. Delete CyrHack
