  1. What is CyrHack?
  2. -----------------------------------------------------------
  3. CyrHack is a HackMaster extension, allowing for using Russian on PalmOS devices.
  4. It supports 1251 (Windows), koi8r (Unix), 866 (DOS) and Macintosh encodings
  5.

  7. Using CyrHack
  8. -----------------------------------------------------------
  9. To switch layouts, tap Graffiti indicator (Ru/En) with your stilus. Or, use the
  10. following stroke combinations when there's no Graffiti indicator on the screen:

  12.     \L    set English layout
  13.     \R    set Russian layout
  14.     \|    cycle layouts
  15.  
  16. where "\" stands for Extended Shift stroke.
  17.  
  18. To change active encoding, double-tap Graffiti indicator or use this stroke
  19. combination
  20.  
  21.     \Y    pop the encodings list
  22.  
  23. where "Y" stands for iena (Japanese currency symbol).
  24.  
  25. Use CyrHelp application (included) as a reference to CyrHack's strokes.

  30. CyrHack is a Hack (in a good, Pilot sense of the word), so it requires
  31. a) Pilot and b) HackMaster, an excellent piece of software by Edward Keyes.
  32. HackMaster is available from http://www.daggerware.com.

  34. To uninstall CyrHack, perform these steps:
  35.     1. Turn CyrHack off in HackMaster
  36.     2. Perform "soft" reset
  37.     3. Delete CyrHack
