  1. TimeCard is a very simple application that replaces the paper
  2. version of your time card. It even lets you punch in and out
  3. without using your stylus: just use the hardware buttons. The
  4. data stored in your application can then be viewed, edited, deleted,
  5. and exported to a MemoPad record. It also shows you the totals of
  6. the hours you spent working.

  8. IMPORTANT:
  9. When upgrading from TimeCard 2.0 to TimeCard 2.1, a database conversion
  10. is required; no data will be lost in this operation. However, once you've
  11. started using TimeCard 2.1, it will not be possible to use TimeCard 2.0
  12. again unless you erase the database first.

  14. Main features:
  15. - view daily/weekly hour totals
  16. - always displays the last time you punched in or out
  17. - displays current date and time in title bar
  18. - view and edit all the recorded entries
  19. - easily export your recorded entries to a MemoPad record; choose the
  20.   category you want to export to; also exports the totals
  21. - choose the date and time format of the exported data
  22. - optionnaly stores the day of week
  23. - optionnally lets you punch without adding the IN or OUT information
  24. - optionnally automatically turns your device off after you punched
  25.   in or out
  26. - optionnally automatically exits the application after you punched
  27.   in or out
  28. - optionnally exports the recorded entries every week and then
  29.   resets its database; choose on what day this will be done
  30. - punch in and out using the stylus or the UP and DOWN hardware buttons
  31. - optionnally lets you use the DateBook, Address, ToDoList and
  32.   MemoPad hardware buttons to punch in and out

  34. Using this application is very simple:
  35. - start it (I recommend you assign TimeCard to a hardware button)
  36. - tap the IN or OUT button on the screen (or use the hardware buttons)
  37. - that's it !

  39. Now, suppose you assigned the startup of TimeCard to the ToDoList
  40. hardware button, and you use the auto-off option of TimeCard. Punching
  41. in or out is as quick as:
  42. - press the ToDoList hardware button; this will power up your device
  43.   and launch TimeCard
  44. - press the UP or DOWN hardware button; this will punch you in or out
  45.   and automatically turn your device off
