- TimeCard is a very simple application that replaces the paper
- version of your time card. It even lets you punch in and out
- without using your stylus: just use the hardware buttons. The
- data stored in your application can then be viewed, edited, deleted,
- and exported to a MemoPad record. It also shows you the totals of
- the hours you spent working.
-
- IMPORTANT:
- When upgrading from TimeCard 2.0 to TimeCard 2.1, a database conversion
- is required; no data will be lost in this operation. However, once you've
- started using TimeCard 2.1, it will not be possible to use TimeCard 2.0
- again unless you erase the database first.
-
- Main features:
- - view daily/weekly hour totals
- - always displays the last time you punched in or out
- - displays current date and time in title bar
- - view and edit all the recorded entries
- - easily export your recorded entries to a MemoPad record; choose the
- category you want to export to; also exports the totals
- - choose the date and time format of the exported data
- - optionnaly stores the day of week
- - optionnally lets you punch without adding the IN or OUT information
- - optionnally automatically turns your device off after you punched
- in or out
- - optionnally automatically exits the application after you punched
- in or out
- - optionnally exports the recorded entries every week and then
- resets its database; choose on what day this will be done
- - punch in and out using the stylus or the UP and DOWN hardware buttons
- - optionnally lets you use the DateBook, Address, ToDoList and
- MemoPad hardware buttons to punch in and out
-
- Using this application is very simple:
- - start it (I recommend you assign TimeCard to a hardware button)
- - tap the IN or OUT button on the screen (or use the hardware buttons)
- - that's it !
-
- Now, suppose you assigned the startup of TimeCard to the ToDoList
- hardware button, and you use the auto-off option of TimeCard. Punching
- in or out is as quick as:
- - press the ToDoList hardware button; this will power up your device
- and launch TimeCard
- - press the UP or DOWN hardware button; this will punch you in or out
- and automatically turn your device off
- - easy, huh ?
