  4.   place it into an empty temporary directory on the computer to be hotfixed.

  6.   - SYN40A.EXE  Hotfix for the Alpha platform
  7.   - SYN40I.EXE  Hotfix for the i386 platform
  8.   - SYN40M.EXE  Hotfix for the MIPS platform
  9.   - SYN40P.EXE  Hotfix for the PPC platform
  10.  
  11. * Type the name of the hotfix (SYN351I, for instance).  The hotfix will
  12.   self extract as shown below:
